Restaurant re-opening soon – but not quite yet!

Restaurant re-opening soon – but not quite yet!

The Forum Restaurant: An Update

We wanted to update everyone regarding the status of the restaurant.

The government announced in June the restriction to the hospitality industry will be lifted on 04 July 2020. Whilst this is certainly exciting news for our sector, it is by no means “business as usual”.

We are checking with gov.uk daily to learn how to run our restaurant as best as we can under the new guidelines. As we are still operating partially with takeaways and deliveries, we are now planning and working extremely hard behind the scene to make everything as safe for our staff and customers as possible in preparation for our re-opening. We are lucky in the sense that due to the size of our restaurant, social distancing will be easier, but we are committed to the governments guidance in terms of cleaning, training, and planning, thus making our premises as Covid-secure as we can.

So the announcement of the easing of the lockdown has come alittle too early for us and we will not be re-opening on the 04 July 2020. Our takeaway and delivery services will run as normal, and when we are confident we have done everything we possibly can to ensure your experience upon our re-opening will be as safe and enjoyable as you would come to expect, then we will celebrate together!

For now, please stay safe as the Pandemic is far from over, and keep checking on our FB page and website www.forumrestaurant.co.uk for updates on our imminent re-opening.
